Summary
GlassBrowser does not track you, does not include third-party analytics, and does not collect your browsing activity. Your bookmarks and wallpapers are stored on your device. Private windows are never persisted. Purchases are handled by Apple.
Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how GlassBrowser (the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the App on Apple platforms. It does not apply to the websites you choose to visit through the App, which are governed by their own privacy policies.
Information We Do Not Collect
We have designed GlassBrowser to operate without collecting personal information. Specifically:
- No tracking. The App does not use advertising identifiers, cross-site tracking, or behavioral profiling.
- No analytics collection. The App does not embed third-party analytics or telemetry SDKs that report your usage to us.
- No browsing history sent to us. The pages you visit, the sites you arrange on your canvas, and your searches are not transmitted to or stored by us.
- No account required. You do not need to create an account or provide personal information to use the App.
Data Stored on Your Device
To make the App useful, some information is stored locally on your device and remains under your control:
- Bookmarks are stored locally on your device.
- Wallpapers and theme choices are stored locally on your device.
- Canvas layout and preferences are stored locally so your arrangement is remembered between sessions.
- Private windows are not persisted. When you close a private window, its session data is discarded.
This data stays on your device. If your device uses Apple services such as iCloud device backup, locally stored data may be included in those backups under Apple’s terms and your settings. You can remove this data at any time by clearing it within the App or by deleting the App.
Purchases
If GlassBrowser offers in-app purchases, those transactions are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy. We may receive aggregate, non-identifying sales information from Apple as part of standard App Store reporting.
Third-Party Websites and Services
GlassBrowser is a browser, so you will load content from websites operated by others. When you visit a site, that site may collect information from you according to its own privacy practices. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Children’s Privacy
GlassBrowser is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not collect personal information, no such information is gathered regardless of a user’s age.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App or for legal and operational reasons. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be made available on this page before they take effect where required by law.
